Apparently the FCC is being deluged with waiver requests. But they are not going far enough. The NPRM (and the waiver system) only deals with hams who work for government entities. It also should apply to hams who work for other disaster relief organizations, like the Red Cross and the Salvation Army. Dick AC7EL |
