But, not hearing a knock on the door does not mean the FCC is agreeing that the activity is legal. Sorta like K1MAN's pending renewal application... Given enough time, they will take care of it, if it doesn't go away on it's own.... |

The problem is though, The monitoring station is in chicago, which I'm 300 miles away from, and my signal can't be heard up there. Secondly hearing it and it being legal is another issue. The station is located on 13.556.00 MHz LSB and 6.950 MHZ AM and anyone that knows propergation knows that those bands skip, even Part 15 on those bands can skip very good. But, not hearing a knock on the door does not mean the FCC is agreeing that the activity is legal. Hello, Robert. Welcome to our little den of iniquity. Expect little...Laugh a lot...take little seriously here and you'll have fun. Morkie's of the opinion that if someone files a complaint or comment that the lack of immediate response means he's justified in doing things illegally. Same for Toiddie (Todd, N9OGL). Toiddie's worse, actually, because he's actually admitted to or made reference to numerous violations of federal law over the years, including illegally modifying ultralight aircraft....The idea that there may be an aircraft over my head that's being operated by a kiddie-porn anime freak give me the willies. Sorta like K1MAN's pending renewal application... Given enough time, they will take care of it, if it doesn't go away on it's own.... They're getting much more robust in their efforts to shut down the "broadcasters" as any perusal of FCC NOV's / NOUO files will reveal. 73 Steve, K4YZ |
