Oh, I think it will go much further than that. The case will be made that the FCC could significantly simplify its administrative tasks by (1) completely dropping most testing, (2) allowing only type-accepted radio equipment on the bands (not just amplifiers), and (3) combining the ARS, the FRS and the CRS into a unified hobbyist service. |
