Its not sexual, now if I created a blog that was www.markmorgansucksdicks.blogspot.com,
then I could see the connection, but that you just plain suck. I don't
see it. Have you ever sucked on a popsicle? Kids do in all the time.
What's sexual about that? Haven't you ever heard anyone say "This
place sucks, or the food sucks? I suppose if you have sex disorder,
everything appears to be related to sex. You should seek professional
help.

Thank you puppet, I just made $50 off of your predictable behavior. I
knew I could count on you. I bet this guy in my user group meeting
here at a caf'e that I could get you to respond to every post I make
in a 10 minute period.

Now I just bet him $25 more that you will respond again to this post
because you are so stupid.

But he did have safety equipment onboard.

His torch (flashlight) was part of an emergency
communications system, which he successfully
used to signal for help.

One wonders why someone that stupid knows Morse code. :-)

Indeed - Morse Code skill and stupidity are usually
negatively correlated.....;-)

He was foolish and unprepared, yes, if the only
emergency equipment he had was a flashlight.

Even smart people are sometimes foolish
and caught unprepared.

Like that family that took a short cut in Oregon,
made a wrong turn or two, and wound up lost
for several days. Cost the father his life.

They had GPS and cell phones and all sorts of
modern stuff but they still got lost. And it took
a long time to find them.

You're right, Jim, he was equipped with an electro-
magnetic wave generator, just a different frequency
from the average maritime mobile radio.

Exactly, Cecil!

Not only that, but his EM wave generator was equipped with a high-gain
directive antenna system. And he was equipped with a sophisticated
diversity receiving system for those frequencies, too.

If an incandescent bulb, too bad most of his power
was radiated in the invisible IR range. :-)

Very true!

However, if the flashlight was one of the new
LED models, its DC-power-to-usable-EM-output)
conversion efficiency could be very good.

The transmitting efficiency
(DC-power-to-usable-EM-output)
of the typical VHF FM voice radio is typically
no better than about 50%.
