The testing sites are probably not ADA compliant enough for his wheelchair
to make it.

Well, yanno, Len could just be a magician, ya never know, ya just never
know ... Len usually does what he says and says what he does ... just
gotta like a guy like that, yanno what I mean jellybean?

"....Len usually does what he says and says what he does...."

WHEN...?!?!?!?!?!?!?

LEONARD H ANDERSON HAS NOT DONE ONE SINGLE THING THAT HE'S EVER
SAID HE WOULD OR ALLEGED THAT HE WAS "CAPABLE" OF WHILE A MEMBER OF
THIS FORUM ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Well...it only took him seven years from his "right out of the
box" claim to do so, but Lennie Anderson has joined the ranks of
LICENSED Amateurs!

And in doing so, FINALLY lived up to ONE of his not-so-subtle
suggestions that he was going to "do something" related to actually
getting an Amateur license. It's only been a decade since we first
"met" and he insinuated impending licensure.

I said he'd never do it, but here I am proven wrong...I stand
corrected.

Now let's see how long it takes him to actually get on the
air...His buddie in Michigan hasn't got the nads to make a schedule on
the air...Let's see if Lennie can live up to any of that rear-area
radio mechanic war hero rhetoric and face his fears....

What a welcome to amateur radio. You're a class act, douchebag.

It will be indeed interesting to see if Mark follows through and puts up at
least a segment of wire so as to allow him to make his new Codeless General
voice heard on the HF bands. So far, Mark has been unable to toss a short
piece of wire over the branches on his alleged forty acres due to inclement
weather, snow, or whatever the excuse du jour is. Even with high winds and
snow, ice floes and glaciers, tornadoes and earthquakes, any Ham who has a
piece of wire available and who has any semblence knowledge of the workings
on an antenna can erect one...even within the confines of his own ten by ten
living room.
Why is Mark stalling?

Oh, wait. I forgot. These hurdles are not his fault. Someone else is to
blame. The weather, the selfish VE's. the ARRL, the need to be constantly On
Guard here in the newsgroups while he defends himself....all of this as a
whole stymies Poor Mark's endeavors. None of this is his fault, you see. He
is the victim who is beset upon by a myriad of unseen forces, forces that
"talk" to him in the quagmire of his misfiring mental processes.

Don't invite Mark to schedule a QSO. He will twist your invitation, as only
a warped mind can do, into being a "stalking" threat. Mark is not quite
right with the normal world...
