Heard a ham radio advertisment on the radio yesterday
I heard an advertisement on the radio yesterday promoting ham radio.
The ad pointed out the reliability of ham radio during emergencies when other communications failed, the history of ham radio, and the fact that the Morse code requirement had been dropped. It also listed an Internet site to help one get started in ham radio. Does anyone else know anything about this? Like most radio commercials, I didn't get a chance to write down the site, but I will keep listening and try to write it down the next time. This is something that I'd be interested in supporting. |
