I just got back from an evening of looking at Mars. Since it is closer
now than it has been in a long time, and won't be this close again when
any of us are around, I suggest getting out and taking a look-see. And
if you don't have a scope, latch on to someone who does.



Mars is the BIG bright reddish-orange star that appears to the
east at about 2230 local time. You CANNOT miss it!

It is worth the look even with binoculars.
