You and me? Sure. Jim/N2EY and I? Sure. Brian and I? Sure. Here's

who
I wouldn't even consider being in the same room with: Larry Roll, Dick
Carroll, Dan/W4whatever, Dave Heil, Waddles (Waddles is non-existent in

my
book), and that's just a few. I have no desire to "get along" with

people
like that.

Kim:

Well, that's pretty sad. I guess you're overlooking the fact that a

person's
online "personality" can be quite different than what one would experience
in person, since the written word, particularly in a virtually immediate

forum
such as Usenet, is, indeed, quite impersonal by nature. Moreover, your
expression of a lack of desire to meet with certain members of this forum
could cause all the rest, even those not included on your list, to not

wish
to meet with you.

And, I would be upset....because? I don't get on a forum in a newsgroup
with the intention of meeting and greeting. Your excuses for your behavior
that this is "just a newsgroup" are weak and shrill at best. I think those
of us who probably would meet in real life are those who have been frank and
honest about who we are, up front and without using the guise of a newsgroup
to act in a manner inconsistent with who we are as people. THOSE are the
people who would end up meeting and not having to waste time muddling
through who we are and who we ain't, Larry.

I would jump at any chance to meet any and all of the regulars in this
newsgroup, for no better reason than to see what they are really like in
person. I think that even Len Anderson could prove to be a quite affable
chap, given a chance to get to know him better. I may be wrong, but
at least I'm willing to take that chance. I would like to think that

given
the opportunity, your curiosity would ultimately get the upper hand over
your stated objections. If not, one could quite legitimately call your
character into question, at a level far deeper than anything ever said
in this forum.

I am not in least bit curious about the majority of people in this
newsgroup. Most of all, those mentioned above.

Kim, get the OM a shiney new pair of HD brass-riveted jeans and
yourself a shiney new HD steel-belted brittany spear brazier, and join
us at Dayton 04.

I promise I won't make any Texas jokes til you'se guys show up.

By the way, do you know how they separate the men from the boys in
Texas...

Brain, (more or less.)

What was it you were suggesting to Mike Coslo about being rude,
Brain?

I promise I won't make any Texas jokes til you'se guys show up.

A promie from you is like pre-election fodder....

By the way, do you know how they separate the men from the boys in
Texas...

Brain, (more or less.)

Then I dare say you'd best not go to Texas...You've been
seperated from your brain for a long time.

Steve, K4YZ

It was my attempt to get Kim to lighten up a little.

But you don't know how to do that - always on the job as the RRAP
Avenging Angel, I see.

No, Brain, it was YOUR "Avenging Angel" personna that was at
work. When YOU do something like that it's "levity"...trying to get
someone to "lighten up". When I say something similar you whip out
this new "Avenging Angel" spin in order to try and disguise your own
conduct.

If I've offended Kim, I'm sorry.

I say it's yet one more example of following in the footsteps of
Lennie the Liar..."Don't So As I Do...Do As I Say"...

Bascially, I just think you're two-faced.

Steve, K4YZ

No, Steve, not true. I have the capacity to say I was wrong an
apologize.

I leave the Avenging Angel stuff to you. You do what you're best at -
trying to destroy anyone who might disagree with you.

Sayonara.

You offend more than Kim, Brain. You offend yourself, but you
are too self-centered to se it.

You offend everyone and embarass your family name. But you are too
self-centeered to realize it.

Being able to "apologize" is worthy, Brian.

Being able to not offend in the first place is even better.

We all make mistakes.

I leave the Avenging Angel stuff to you. You do what you're best at -
trying to destroy anyone who might disagree with you.

It's not about "destroy(ing) anyone who might disagree with
(me)", Brain...It's about not tolerating that which I know to be false
and is known to others.

There are many falsehoods promoted on RRAP. Yet you target only Len
(and me) for destruction. Your Avenging Angel Wings provide sanctuary
to your favorite falsehoods. In doing so, you lie to yourself.

You make silly, even stupid assertions and claims and then take
offense when people pile up on you for being silly and stupid.

That's YOUR "fault".

I accept and admit that I made a mistake, and I apologized.

What is your excuse?
