Contrary to Lennie's assertions otherwise, I HAVE spent time doing military communications. I know what Lennie did...It did not require any "skill" in order to "work" stations. They pointed or selected the antenna of choice, chose the frequency most likely supported by the MUF for that time of day, and I have also spent 32 years in Amateur Radio. You can't. You can't... tune a tube type transmitter. Sure I can. Care to see...!?!? Oh wait...you said you don't want to be anywhere NEAR me... Ooooops. Guess you lose.
