It must be wonderful to be god I am sure there was a point to this, but I am not sure what it was. My first impression is that of yet another anonymnous sling-and-run hit. Steve, K4YZ |

I've had ALL I CAN TAKE of this...I just can't stand reading Amateur Radio stuff in an Amateur Radio forum... That must be why you're constantly engaging in character assassination. Now we understand. I think we all understood that some time ago... :-) |

Except that you forget that the charter and guidelines for the "rec.radio.amateur" newsgroups do NOT allow periodic postings without permission - and that "AR Newsline" has permission ONLY for rec.radio.amateur.misc and rec.radio.info (the latter a moderated group). All five versions of the guidelines I found online say the same thing. But you didn't trim any of the quoted post. Why burn the bandwidth if you didn't want the OP to burn similar bandwidth? |

Robert, the reason is that Dieter's quest is not to limit the "spam" on NG's...It's to conduct a campaign against Bill Pasternak, period. If Alexander P. Fuddlemeyer III started running ARN and posting here, it would be a moot point...the catalyst of Dieter's hatred, Bill Pasternak, would have been removed. Dieter demands that ARN stop posting here despite the fact that the content of those "releases" is 500% more relevent to Amateur Radio "policy" than 99.999% of the other posts here. I believe I clearly demonstrated that in the post that initiated this thread. Dieter does not "contest" those other posts. They are not posted by WA6ITF. 73 Steve, K4YZ |
