Len's terms of endearments list

writes: What's with you, Your Scumminess? Didn't they teach you radio rules at professional radio school? What "professional radio school?" That's my point, Lennie. You don't have the training. Tsk, tsk. Such an ignorant addition to having stated that the University of Illinois is just a "correspondence school." :-) Well, let's see... none of the classes I took at UCLA, CSUN, Loyola, or even L.A.Trade-Tech were called "professional radio school." A BSEE does not stand for "professional radio school." Practical, on-the-job training with the U.S. Army Signal Corps, Hughes Aircraft Company, Ramo-Wooldridge Corporation, RCA Corporation and Teledyne (Electronics Division) did not involve "professional radio school." [just some examples, not all] The DCAS (Defense Contract Administrative Services) listings didn't have me with any "professional radio school." Neither did the FBI, CIA, DIA, FCC, FAA, IRS or Franchise Tax Board of California...all of whom were informed of my schooling and professional job experience. [I'm not sure if the DoE did any investigating directly for my clearances there (Atomics International) since they had enough to go on from other agencies' information] Nope, never filled out one of those "school" applications as given on back pages of Popular Mechanics or the Police Gazette. That means I must be some kind of "wash out" in schooling? :-) Ah, yes, I have "no experience in radio!" Poor Stebie, going into a fit of rage because I didn't spend 8 hours per for years doing ham radio activity like he did in the murine copse or in the hospital. [the ONLY radio is amateur radio? :-) ] Maybe I'll write MIT or Harvard and see if I can sign up for one of their "correspondence courses" in "professional radio school?" On completion they will award me a pretty certificate suitable for framing? There ya go! :-) "People who live in glass houses should make love in the basement." - Terry Moran |

I NEVER stated that U of I is "just a correspondence school". Yet ANOTHER lie from one who finds it sooooooooooooooo easy to lie! Maybe I'll write MIT or Harvard and see if I can sign up for one of their "correspondence courses" in "professional radio school?" On completion they will award me a pretty certificate suitable for framing? If they have correspondence courses, I am sure they will if you flash the right amount of green or acceptable plastic. And then you too will have a pretty certificate suitable for framing. Just like the rest of us. Until then, you're still a liar. You're stil a cheat. You're still deciteful. You're still not licensed nor experienced in the Amateur Radio Service. There ya go! Yep. There ya go! Different circumstances. I once slipped up and thought I could trust a guy that I sent mail to in confidence, however he took stuff I sent him and disucssed it in open forum dispite having been told the material was sensitive. Some trust, eh? Can't even trust a fellow Vet any more...That's sad. 73 Steve, K4YZ |

Otherwise tell us about your undocumented, illegal operation from Somalia. It was OK, supposedly, becasue some butter bar gave you the nod, but your butter bar was not a representitive of the UN officers who were in charge at the time. After that you can get around to providing us the links that corroborate your "Unlicensed devices play a major role in emergency comms" assertion. Then you can provided us some sort of verification of your claim of having worked the equivilent of DXCC a couple times over. Those are radio-related issues that you claim expertise, experience or otherwise are knowledgeable of. So far you've provided us absolutely nothing, and those are just the RADIO related issues. And if your nose isn't bruised and bloodied enough after that, there are some other issues I will be glad to regurgitate for NG consumption, but we'll wait and see if you decide to exercise some So...You up to getting your NG butt whupped again, or do you just want to forget that you re-opened a can of worms that folks were just now starting to forget? Otherwise tell us about your undocumented, illegal operation from Somalia. It was OK, supposedly, becasue some butter bar gave you the nod, but your butter bar was not a representitive of the UN officers who were in charge at the time. I did see one reserve Staff Sargeant, but that was about the lowest rank I saw. He wasn't in the UN either. Stebe has ultimate authority in ham radio. Everywhere. If He says you be illegal, you are illegal. In his tunnel vision, that is. After that you can get around to providing us the links that corroborate your "Unlicensed devices play a major role in emergency comms" assertion. Go get a better quote. Stebe hasn't done much "emergency comms" stuff, obviously. But His imagination has! :-) Then you can provided us some sort of verification of your claim of having worked the equivilent of DXCC a couple times over. Go get a quote for that one, too. Those are radio-related issues that you claim expertise, experience or otherwise are knowledgeable of. So far you've provided us absolutely nothing, and those are just the RADIO related issues. My statements can stand on their own. Doesn't matter whether or not anyone provides bona fide references for Stebe. If'n he say you be wrong, you be wrong! :-) And if your nose isn't bruised and bloodied enough after that, there are some other issues I will be glad to regurgitate for NG consumption, but we'll wait and see if you decide to exercise some "Bruised and bloody." Interesting choice of words. Are you doing some kind of violence? Stebe is Conan the Barbarian in here, master of wanting to do violence. So...You up to getting your NG butt whupped again, or do you just want to forget that you re-opened a can of worms that folks were just now starting to forget? Steve, K4YZ Steve, I don't believe you've ever given anyone else a "butt whooping." Perhaps in some fantasy kind of way. Ackshully, Stebe said "whupped." Das a TN word which I think means Stebe's imagination filled out his dream desire for gory glory and the Prince of Barbarians, conquering all who stand in his way! Anyway, when are you going to tell us your 7 war stories? I think those were "hostile actions." Stebe will say those are all "classified" or somesuch since he can't talk about them in public. :-) It's the same way with his NOT talking about all those military radios he supposedly used while in the military. He's not mentioned but one and that is really an old commercial rig (which he probably saw briefly at some base MARS station). Stebe said (a long time ago) that all that radio information was "secret" or words to that effect, therefore he "couldn't talk about them in public." :-) Never mind that nearly ALL of those military radios have been public knowledge for years, information available from many, many public sources. Geez, even before Stebe mumbled his "secret radio" thing, I'd given the link to Army Field Manual FM 24-24 that's been in public dissemination status since 1994. [24-24 is a directory of Signal Devices and similar links are available on various ham radio Internet sites. Wait a minute. Maybe Soldier of Fortune magazine is going to publish this great war hero's story? In that case, there's prolly a Non-Disclosure Agreement mandating he can't talk about it! Yeah, that's it. Stebe can't talk about it because of the NDA! Wow. Funny Fiction time again! :-) |

Stebe hasn't done much "emergency comms" stuff, obviously. Far, far more than you or Brian, Lennie. Enought to know that he's not right and you're inexperienced. But His imagination has! I think this meant something, but what? Then you can provided us some sort of verification of your claim of having worked the equivilent of DXCC a couple times over. So far, there's been NO references. No, Lennie...The "I can't talk about it bbecasue it's an on-going project" tht YOU cited due to your "working part time but retired from regular hours" routine.
