I see you belong to the Brother Dave Gardner, "I believe we ought to
make everythin' legal--then we wouldn't have no crime" school of
thought. If these clown won't stay in line, fine them or jail them.

"We"? Do you have a pirate station in your pocket?

Is that the one in California that was just busted???? HO HO

The one from the latest issue of the ARRL Letter? Todd should read it.
It tells of a fellow who had his amateur license set aside because of
unlicensed activity before he obtained his amateur license.

.....and your point Dave??

John Smith August 6th 05 06:47 AM

Dave:

Why ever bother to "reform" offenders? Why ever bother to restore them to
society? Why ever bother to think what works?

Why not just alienate 'em, make 'em frankensteins, find fault, abuse 'em
like we see fit? Create real monsters who harm us and society?

Are you for real? Do you have a purpose in mind?

Is you intent to find an offender and hold him there forever?

What happens when you create an army of 'em, and they end up harming your
friends and family? You going to tell the harmed ones how much you are
going to "punish the bad guys" you created?

Gawd man, I hope no fools give you power!

Asking Todd to read the letter and thereby expecting him to understand it
are two, separate issues.
Comprehension seems to be not be not be viable insofar as Todd is concerned.

OK. I give up. What the heck is, "I not running a pirate radio station." ???
Damn, Todd. I "not running" one, either.

Toddie, you and Roger are sounding more and more like Siamese Twins with
every post.

OK, correction I'm not running a pirate radio station.

John Smith August 6th 05 07:38 AM

Cassie:

My gawd, back in the late 60's and into the 70's I lived for pirate
stations (soon after that was college and a job, made me lose track of
pirate stations frown!.)

Used to stay up all night tuning bands and searching for them, in high
school--had a hard time staying up all night long and getting to school!

What ma'roon would find fault with a good pirate station? Have these "new
timers" became a bunch of "Girly-Men?"

My gawd man, K1MAN is a GOD! He cannot be judged as a mere mortal!

If he wasn't posing such a danger to the "arrl enterprises, inc." he would
probably have a write up in Forbes Magazine.

His best trait is throwing some light on the arrl and perhaps awakening
the brain dead to the fact arrl needs a severe "hand slapping" and
restructuring.

However, I think the sorry state of things is that those who already have
the gray matter are already pi$$ed at the con job, the others will never
know.
