When HF turns into CB with little spark between the ears, then it's
time to pull the plug. Me personally, I've said good bye to HF years
ago when the band conditions and QRM stomped out QRP operation. Maybe
someday I'll buy another one when I'm over 500 miles from the nearest
metropolis. Till then, what goes on in this thread is a perfect
example of why a code requirement should still be maintained.
