I think the approach taken is "There is no problem so large nor
complex that it cannot be run away from."
I believe (no proof that Fcc is willing to indulge the ARRL as long
their is no price for them
what i think will get tomove is thatNVEC will need to know stuff
before long for the new General pool
that is my bellive YMMV

I think that you are right. They have been left hanging for three
years, wondering when they will have to update the question pool. 3
years is excessive.

on 1Jul2007 the pool needs to be in place is NVEC is to contiue its
work smothly the FCC has some time yes but not a lot (if my analyis is
valid of course)

I have since heard that the FCC are saying late this year or early next
year, so probably we are talking about six months before the question pool
is due.

i have heard that OTOH the fcc was saying it might be awhile 2 days
before they released the last change

if they wait till afrwe the nvec meeting they likely will have some
explaning to do at the meeting hard to say with these bozos

At least that might force them to finalise this. Assuming they have a clue
about the NCVEC.

thye do understand this

thus it is likely they will act before the meeting (which is held at
FFC HQ) or wait for sept or oct
