downloaded it and will try that with my pictures. Thanks again.

It was a bit tricky at first but you just rename the executable
[PhotoResize1024HM.exe] in my case to reduce things to a standard
desktop size of 1024. The [H] is for high quality and the [M] is to
include the Metadata (like EXIF). Then go into your send to folder and
create a shortcut. After that it's very easy to trim pics down to a
reasonable size with a right click.

That certainly is an interesting program. I mainly use (and thoroughly
recommend) Faststone Viewer but, for a bit of fun, I'm going to try this
one. And it's 'no-install'.
