Default Help - Whats my Like New Radio Shack PRO-2042 Worth ????

Contrary to what was told to you, digital is still only a small
percentage of transmissions that your scanner will receive.
Granted they will continue to grow, as mandated by the FCC,
but it will take many years to happen, so your scanner still
has some worth.

It was a good suggestion to 'check' ebay and see what they are going
for, average the price of several if you can find that many and ask
about 20% less on a newsgroup ( you'll still get about the same for it
you just won't have to pay e-bay their cut for listing it )

The 2042 was a good scanner in its day, as was the 2035
the 2042 is an improved version of the 2035.

Hello,

I have decided to clean out some items sitting around that I don't
use anymore.

I have a like new and working perfect Radio Shack PRO-2042 1000
Channel Scanner that tops my list.

I bought it new and have hardly used it. Still have manual too.

Seems like I paid about $500.00 dollars for it when it was
purchased.

My question is what is it worth now?

Thanks, Mike SW FL
