Is it on by default to make sure people are warned? I've read the manual a dozen times and pressed programming buttons until my fingers hurt. PLEASE??? Help me, please??? Begging You do not set it specifically for "tornado warnings". If you have the FIPS codes set per the manual then it will go off when a warning is issued. There is a special code that goes out with the warnings that allow radios properly equipped to show what type of warning it is. However, you do NOT set the radio to enable "tornado" or other specific warnings Howard The radio allows me to disable/enable "yes/no" to all watches and warnings. However I can enable tornado 'watch' but not a tornado 'warning'. It simply is not an option. Am I to assume the radio is setup so that you cannot enable/disable the specific 'tornado warning'? Their are about 15 watches and warnings I can setup. |
