I am only 100 miles or so away but I had gone to bed.

I monitor 2182, 2670 and 500. plus the Japanese's, Chinese and Philippine
Coast Guard.

I was monitoring the plane that went down off So. Calf. a few years ago, I
could pickup the relay on the divers that checked the pilot to see if he was
alive. I lived in Ridgecrest, Ca. at the time.

Wish I had been monitoring last night. Remember I am +8z here, it's tomorrow
