Fwd: [MilRadioComms] NASA 947 in Shuttle Landing preparations

NASA Shuttle Training Acft (STA) "NASA 947" is up making approaches
to the Shuttle Landing Facility (SLF) Runways to simulate landing of
the Shuttle STS-123 Mission scheduled for later this evening.
NASA 947 is reporting visibility conditions and weather to "Weather
CAPCOM" on 126.65.
Another freq that is busy with landing-related comms is 46.65, the
Eastern Test Range (ETR) Range Safety Officer (RSO) freq.

Thanks Alan; Heard the sonic booms clearly here in Oviedo from the
delayed landing. I thought I heard a sonic boom last night. I wonder if
the STA's were going supersonic during their trials?
