That depends on the frequency range you will monitor. Do a google search on scanner radio antennas, check into Police Call and Ham sites to learn about antennas. As a general rule, an outside antenna always works better than the one that came with the scanner. There is no one "do it all" antenna, some come close but if you stick to say 150Mhz range, get one tuned for that range. |
