I'd like to know if there is a general purpose whip antenna available to
cover scanner frequencies up to 1300mhz that will also provide adequate servive for 144/440 ham transmission? I realize that I will not be getting an antenna that is perfectly matched for all frequencies. I will be using a license plate mount and I'd like as thin an antenna as possible to minimize wind loading. Also, I'd be looking for the same in a rubber duck style, 12 inches tops. Any suggestions? Thanks. |
