Just use the longest length you can without the wire turning back on
itself. A right angle in the aerial is fine but if it turns back on itself you are unlikely to get any benifit from the extra length. 12 metres should be long enough unless you are using an insensitive receiver or are in a remote interference free area. -- Brian Gregory (In the UK). |
