The CHP has ZERO interest in moving off of the 39/42/45Mhz band. The main
reason is it WORKS. Works in canyons, up/down the coast and thru the desert.
Check for *NEW* channel "pairing"..but dont expect them to move anytime
soon...Eddie

Anybody here in Calif or So Cal know if CHP has gone trunked?
Our local station 42.4 is quiet, so i went into search and have heard
nothing for a couple of weeks.
We are in Ventura County area.
