Default Can you identify this antenna?

Is this a CB, band II FM, marine, scanner antenna, or what? In your opinion.

Thanks. Rich.

Model number CA-815.

It would help if you measured and posted the dimensions of the
antenna. How long
is the vertical element (assembled) and how long are the radials
(assembled)? It would
be easy to figure out what freq. it is cut to if we knew these, since it
doesnt look like
there are any loading coils in the pic. Is it a shunt fed antenna (does it
show a dead short
from the center conductor to the radials) or is it open?

Looks like **Plad Bed Special**

very popular in the 50's but superceded by the ** Paisley Special** in mid 60's
