Default Uniden 245XLT: Cant find Scan groups

Somehow I have done something and I messed up my scan groups, because I
cannot get them to come up. I have looked in the owners manual and what they
say do does not work. How do I get to the can groups?

It sounds like you need to reset the scanner and reprogram it.
manual + 2 + 9 keys depressed when you turn the scanner on
will reset the scanner.
Here is a interface program that can also allow you to
more easily program the radio in case you have to reset it.

I have downloaded this program and tried it, but i am still not getting
something. The ID Groups from frequency bank 2 are showing up on frequency
bank 1. There are other things that are happening that are strange too. I
like the idea of the program, but I dont think that its working right for
me. Any Ideas? Michael
