I need to know if i can get a car cord for my BC 780, missplaced it.
If someone knows if it is avalible from uniden, or would like to sell
one, please let me know

Just run down to radio shack and pick one up.

be very carefull when you run down to radio smack. They may not know what
you are talking about since in my area they only want to sell things like
cell phones, and stereo equipment. Gone are the day when you can get parts
for what you are working on at the smack.

Bill, That is worldwide at every RS. They are a consumer retailer and Hams
and scanner ops are not their customers anymore because they found out there
are not nearly as many of us and we don't spend $$ like its going out of
style on R/C cars, DSS systems, and Cell phones. You want parts try Digikey
or Tessco. The first one will get online with you in an IM session and
review what you need to make sure its right and make some alternatives
available. I don't work for them I'm just a very satisfied customer. They
may not know about a BC780 but if you tell them its a 12v Cigar plug on one
end and a barrel connector with (blank)mm size OD and ID on the other they
can get it or at least all the parts to make one up.
