IDTracker records conventional frequencies just fine if it is set up
properly. It is necessary to select the relevant bank, select Edit, and check the track frequencies box. Trunkstar and the other Signal Intelligence programs I've tried are full of bugs and missing functions. Trunkstar780 actually assigned the wrong talkgroup ID to the WAV files when I auditioned the program. Maybe that was fixed in one of the dozens of versions of the program, but I don't have the time to keep up with the new release of the week. The author of Trunkstar is not very competent and would probably not be able to make a living writing software in a more demanding venue. We do agree on Butel software - good stuff. "Dwayne" wrote in message .net... In article , frank346 @groznyk.com says... Skip Winscan and Trunkstar, neither of which work very well. Trunkstar works great for recording and controlling the radio. I do like to use ACR780 for working on the freq files. What is it about Trunkstar that you think does not work very well when it comes to controlling and recording? Also like what was already said, ID tracker will only work for trunked systems. |
