Wouldn't the 2 metter band rightfully go from about 135 mHz through mayby 160 or 170 Mhz. I am not certain that the writer was asking for the ham 2 meter freqs but a general question of what is two meters freq? You can figure it out mathematically but I have to look in the book to find it. Wavelength (in m) = 300 / frequency (in MHz) (for free space, different in a media, but if you need that sort of precision you should be looking someplace other than rec.radio.scanner for information.) -Donald -- "A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort." -Herm Albright |
