computer based trunking for 8200

I'm planning to write first a truncking tracker for the ar8200 and
also a disgital decriptor ( like the bc296 ) using rs232 as control (
and trunk tracking) and the discriminator to the sound card.

If any one could give me sugestions youre welcome
