Hiya. I had a MKII for about 6 or so months.
Jesus christ, I can't understand why it was so difficult to use! And the battery life was real crap too. I absolutely loved it as a scanner, but wished to god I didn't sell my Yupi 7100 for it. To make things even worse, they wanted £75 for the PC lead! I know there are allot of people who love the 8200's, so I apologise if I offend you, (which I have before!) just personal opinion. But it wasn't as sensitive as my Yupi either though. But twice as dear. Well, I sold the MKII and got my beloved Yupi 7100 back. FOR GOOD!!! Andy I invite correspondence from other MK2/MK3 users who might be/have been suffering the same dilemma. After all, the AR8200 owner knows these aren't Uniden toys! |
