"GeorgeF" == GeorgeF writes with some embedded non-ascii:
GeorgeF The most common question I get is \223what frequency can I GeorgeF hear Airforce One on?\224 The answer is the standard approach GeorgeF and tower freqs, nothing special And what do they call the plane on the radio, just "Airforce One"? Airforce Zero for security reasons? What? |

If the president is not aboard the aircraft callsign changes to SAM28000 or SAM29000 depending on which of the two 747's they're using that day. Really not much secret when it comes to AF1 Comms on the ATC freqs, they have to do just like any other plane in the ATC system.... George http://www.MilAirComms.com |

Unless the VP is the primary passenger, when it's called Airforce Undisclosed.
