I bought a new Pro-83 and the signal stalker won't detect a cordless phone
beyond a few inches away with the stock antenna. A telescopic antenna extended to the correct length only improves the range by a few more inches. A couple feet away from my 900 Mhz analog cordless phone's base unit will not detect at all, nearly the same with my neighbor's 43 Mhz lowband cordless. What kind of signal stalker performance are the rest of you Pro-83 owners getting? I'm wondering if I have a bad unit. |
