Hi Folks,
I'm going to buy my brother a radio scanner for his christmas but am unsure on which one to get. I would like to get one with a wide input range (maybe up to 2000Mhz) and with no gaps. It should also have an output port to PC so that he can pick up APT images etc. I have no idea what is good and what is not - there do appear to be a lot of RadioShack 2006..... etc models kicking around on ebay - are these any good? Someone suggested a YAESU UR-5000 but from what I have seen this looks very complicated and quite pricey! Any input much appreciated. John. |
