users for the 35 independent cities and 95 counties in Virginia and
selected federal/military listings for the borders states of Maryland,

3. Approximately 10,000 frequency listings show assigned and possible

location. Another helpful feature is using the latitude and longitude
record information where provided. Using a GPS software mapping program
(not included), a user's geographical location can be seen on the map
display after the coordinates have been entered. Finally, where known,
particularly for business services users, another useful feature is the
actual use of the frequency is provided.

4. There is no publication of frequency listing source that provides
the depth of detail and scope of user information that is found in the
W4UVV Virginia Frequency Directory. If you are someone who is
interested in more detail about a given frequency or user, then you need
this directory. Included also are a user manual, files installation
instructions and a tips and recommendations file. The master file
additionally contains some "interesting" frequencies monitored off air
and not found in other publications or sources such as internet web
sites.
