You're hardly blameless in all this, You are right. I fully admit posting here on the groups. However, it's a hard pill to swallow to have fellow hobbyists hurt you in this way, when I meant no harm to anyone. Over the years many hobbyists have benefiited from the equipment I've sold. No one is getting rich. I think if we are going to clean up the newsgroups, then Let's do it for all, not just one because someone got their panties twisted seeing an item bid up for more then it should have. That's just not fair. but I do agree with you on one point... eBay should provide a legitimate reason each and every time it ends an auction. They should, but for some reason in this case, they have not. If and when I ever get a response, I will post it here. But I suspect it is as I said, someone on these groups did me in. So much for the amateur radio fraternity. Dan |

EBay has LONG been known for inconsistent and arbitrary policy decisions. The best bet is to NOT post for sale or auction posts here, but to the group MADE for them, rec.radio.swap. You are WRONG. The rule does not allow for ANY posting of ANYTHING eBay related ANYWHERE. Period. Not even on rec.radio.swap. That way, no one can complain about the posts being off-topic. They will and they do. All of those FA postings right now on rec, radio.swap have to go.... Dan |

You listed one or more items that I did not approve of,
so I had the offending auctions removed. If you re-list them, I will have your account canceled. Do not reply to this message. wrote in message ... Super-whine |

The Uniden 296D and 796D violate the listing rules of eBay. They don't allow continuous coverage scanners... The plot thickens.. what a ****ing loser! The UNIDEN 296 D and 796 D scanners ARE NOT continuous coverage scanners. YOU CANNOT buy one no way, no how, no where, unless you buy a very old model scanner like the 2006, etc... There are a BUNCH of 296D and 796D scanners on eBay right now. There is nothing about the scanner that would cause the auction to be removed. Someone just dimed me out. Dan |
