![]() Listing an item FA: in a newsgroup is an ebay violation? OK it is but why? How does attracting more potential buyers and getting a higher FAVF bad for ebay? You would think so, but that's there rule. You can ask the same question this way: How does listing a FA posting on scanner and swap newsgroups where someone might find an item they need or want, become really bad for the newsgroups and it's readers, considering that 99% of what is posted daily is plain SPAM and horse****? Answer - because some here have NO life and simply MUST enforce THEIR will upon others. As for not reimbursing a listing fee they can get away with that because of all the disclaimers in that you willingly posted something was in violation and it was up taking HD space, not their fault you broke the rules, you got what you paid for a listing. To reimburse you wouldn't be cost effective and they don't care you never use them again, they got 10 new suckers coming on line every second. I agree with you 100% on the above. Well, the couple bucks for the listing fee is money well spent. This has been some education. Dan |
