![]() Today I went on line and downloaded the Radio Shack Pro-96 manual. I also noticed other things like a DSP software upgrade. I have to admit that after reading the Icom IC-R20, Uniden BC-296 and the Radio Shack Pro-96, The Radio Shack seems like a very Clear Winner based on Ease of operation, and software updates and flexibility!!! If the Pro-96 PERFORMS as good as everyone is telling me, then it seems like the logical choice. With Performance and Build Quality superior have I missed anything??? "RSL" wrote in message news:xyZ3e.3171$ZV5.3035@fed1read05... Reports of problems with the BC296D having sensitivity issues early on. I guess they just broke. Has this problem now been resolved??? In addition is this still the best hand held scanner on the market or do you have another pick for the top radio. Icom IC-R20 is nice but seems to lack the TRUE scanner options that Uniden puts in its units. Just looking for an update on this radio. Thank You!! |
