Default One Best Portable Rig?

I'm *thinking* of replacing my Icom R8500 and Yaesu VR-120D with ONE all
purpose portable.

Can anyone recommend a good handheld rig? I'd prefer something that can be
purchased with no gaps in the frequency coverage.

How about the Icom R20? Or maybe something not yet released but rumored to
be in the near future?

Thanx,
Bob

I tried the R20 and ended up sending it back. It is deaf in the
250-300 mhz range and as a milair listener that is unacceptable.

The Yupiteru MVT-7100 is still my favorite.
