BE CAREFUL!!! AND BE AWARE OF PEOPLE AROUND YOU!!
The Hurricane and Dangerous People on Your Streets Hello Everyone, New Orleans is toast. It's the biggest natural disaster in an urban area in American history. It came to my attention that you and I may have a bunch of dangerous people in our towns and on our streets. South Louisiana has 1.4 million people from New Orleans scattered around here. Some are being bused to Houston. The 100,000 + people that stayed in New Orleans are being "rescued" and turned loose along Interstate 10. Looting is going on all over New Orleans. The "brothers" are out of control. A lot of these people are the lowest of the low. Former governor Mike Foster, in the past, has called New Orleans a third world jungle. Former governor Edwin Edwards threatened many times to send in the National Guard to take over control of the city from it's mayor, DA, and police chief. They are possibly headed into your town. They have no money, no drugs, no "pimp-mobiles" to low-ride in, no new Nike's, etc. Last night some masked men broke into a Lafayette home, killed the man of the house and forced the wife to open the family safe. They pocketed the families life savings and left. (This incident has not been verified.) I was out and about town today. I saw some scary looking people driving on the streets and in some of the stores I was in. Some of the lowest of the low. This is a good time to be alert and watch what you're doing and where you are. Alert your wife and kids. No night-time shopping for a while. No night-time bar hopping for a while. Get in the habit of locking your house doors in the daytime. Keep car doors locked. Stay out of the crummy parts of town. No excuse to be there. All the other common sense safety rules. Finally..........if you don't have a gun, get one. You might need it. |
