Tnx for the info. I have a PRO-96 and it's served me pretty well but
you know how it is... hihi

Glad to hear that Uniden did the right thing. While I'm fortunate
enough that I don't much bristle at a $500+ rig purchase, the faceplate
issue should just plain not have been present on a $500+ scanner. Hmm,
Christmas is coming up soon... I'd better start dropping the hints to
Santa Spouse. (...& Ten-Tec's just released their Orion II!)
