Hussein was bad - no doubt about it. But there sure as hell wasn't any
sectarian violence, car bombers, people being pulled from their cars and
executed. Don't even try and convince me that the level of violence is
the same as when he was in power. Everyone from the average person to
American military officers realizes that what is happening now is
essentially a civil war.

depends on what you see as violence Saddams Butchers did their killing
in a tidier fashion than the various factions are now but SADDAM killed
10 k plus per year

The problem right now is that the American military is conceding that
Iraq is in a state of civil war. Iraq is a country that can only be held
together by a strong central leadership. The situation is reminiscent of
how Yugoslavia fell apart into regional in-fighting after Tito's death.

The situation in Iraq can only get worse and not better.

I said nothing about 'fault'; however, seeing as -you- brought it
up, tell us then, whose fault you think it is that after almost 4
years, Baghdad is -still- not under control.

I believe Bush is the "Commander-in-Chief", that the buck was
supposed to stop with him and that he made the BIG show (eyewash for
the sheeple?) of saying "mission accomplished".
The Bushevik-in-Chief really underestimated what was going to happen
after the invasion and that lies right on his square head. Invading
troops to be greeted with flowers and candy? Get a grip on reality.

I think that Curious George needs to go work at a morgue or two in
Baghdad to realize just how badly he screwed up.

JB

Screwed up? No. He would see that the morgues have fewer people now
that Sadam is gone. I really wish you dip****s north of the border had
more than one working brain cell.

We do grasp reality. It's just that you KKKanadians have your
heads so far up your ass you can't see it.

In what sort of screwed-up reality is driving a country into civil war
supposed to accomplish?

Your leadership was saying that you were going to be greeted with
flowers and candy? Grasp of reality? Bush must have been snorting that day!

sitting there and wringing your mitts and whineing and moaning and
crying? Do y'all think those terrorist dont know where Canada is? Do
y'all really think those terrorist will lay off of Canada?

Just a little more clean up. Everything will be OK.

My, my. How convenient of you to overlook the death or maiming of the
sons and daughters of America.

And, sadly, it's all for naught.

Seeing as you advertise you are slow, I will type the following real slooow.

As of August 7, 2006, the O-F-F-I-C-I-A-L position of the administration
is: NO WMDs. Don't quote me any web addresses or give me your -opinion-;
the OFFICIAL -government- position is "NO WMDs".

The whole "yellowcake" episode has been proven, time and again, to be a
fraud and a FORGERY.

NONE (as in ZERO) of the 9/11 mad dogs were from Iraq and they STILL
aren't from Iraq.

Saddam did NOT support Bin Laden; Saddam was for a secular government
and Osama was for a ultraconservative religious government---they were
at -opposite- ends of the political spectrum.

This whole "war" is BULL**** and sadly, people on both sides are dying
for nothing.

Just "a little more clean up"?? Well into the -FOURTH- year??

and "Everything will be OK."??

How naive of you.

Didn't you see the Congressional hearings the other day, where the
big-shot Generals themselves were hemming and hawing about being in the
middle of a civil war? (Gee, big surprise, right? I mean, its only been
going on for a thousand years or so).

Didn't you hear Bush himself say we will be there for at least two more
years?? Six years is just "a little more clean up"?

BTW, I -almost- feel sorry for the generals--they seem to be finally
getting a clue as to which way things are heading, but being in fear of
their masters in Washington and not wanting to put an early end to their
juicy pensions, they are afraid to tell the Emperors in DC that they are
wearing no clothes.
