depends on what you see as violence Saddams Butchers did their killing
in a tidier fashion than the various factions are now but SADDAM killed
10 k plus per year


The problem right now is that the American military is conceding that
Iraq is in a state of civil war. Iraq is a country that can only be held
together by a strong central leadership. The situation is reminiscent of
how Yugoslavia fell apart into regional in-fighting after Tito's death.

The situation in Iraq can only get worse and not better.
