Default Sony ICF-6800W

Just curious how many of these excellent, but problem-prone and difficult to
work on, radios are out there that need work. Anyone got one of these that
doesn't work right?

I finally found someone local here in Ann Arbor that is extremely good with
these radios. I would be interested in buying another 6800W (Orange only)
if it's in excellent shape cosmetically but has a problem.

Jeff

Problem radios have serialnumbers between 10000 and 21000.
The orange version has a serialnumber over 30000.
