I see no problem with this auction. Perhaps if you want to be an self-appointed "e-Bay Cop" you should contact e-Bay directly and offer your services to them at no charge instead of wasting your time in the ham radio NG's? |

WOW ! you sure have NO idea what you are talking about !!!!
the 55 is NOT AT ALL RARE ! it DOES NOT have advanced circuitry over the 2010 !!!!!!! It DOES NOT even have a sync detector !!!!! the average price on ebay for the 55 is $175 to $250 depending on what it comes with, hard case or soft case etc.... but you are so clueless, I am not sure what I can teach you....... Agree completely that this looks on the up and up. The high bidder looks real enough. The other bidder who has zero feedback initially looked suspicious, but his bidding history looks ok. He bid on three different SW55's all listed by different sellers. If the radio is in the condition the seller says it is and if the buyer is willing to pay the price then why not. It's the buyers money. Contrary to what the original poster hinted at there is nothing wrong with this auction that I see. But maybe the original poster will respond back with specifics about why he feels this auction is suspicious. Any one can assert the auction looks suspicious without giving a reason. |
