Default Indoor antenna for Lowe Europa?

I have used METAL Slinkys@ for years as indoor antennas. You simply
stretch them out across the ceiling, anchoring them with common cup
hooks, preferably close to a window. Then you can feed them with
stripped coax to PL 259 or just alligator clips. Sometimes a bit
noisy, but they work.

Any hope for program listening from Asia? Europe?
