Default ATS-803 reset?

My ATS-803 / DX440 no longer powers on, after a power failure

Is there a reset hole? I haven't looked closely but maybe somebody
knows.

It's on the AC adapter, and the 2 AA's keeping the internals running
are okay.

It's been powered on continuously pretty much for 25 years.

No reset hole/switch on a DX-440. Manual implies reset is done
by removing batteries for one minute. I remember seeing
newsgroup messages to keep batteries out as long as a day
for various radios to get them to reset so you may have to
experiment a little. Good luck! I'm still impressed with mine.

Regards,
John

Unplug/take out the batteries and push all of the buttons.Leave it like
that (without putting the batteries back in) for a day or so.That might
reset the radio.

25 years? Are they *that* old?

Anyways, I've reset mine in the past by removing the batteries for an hour
or so.
