Your point, as I take it, is you are pointing out that any individual,
group, gov't, etc., which has chosen to embark on an illegal course of
behavior/actions only tends to follow it up with another such
behavior/action if challenged? If so, it should be noted, such a gov't
will eventually reap the benefits of making criminals out of its'
citizens ...

Well, certainly you can witness such behavior in any dictator form of
gov't, my point is, is that it is a shame our gov't begins to mimic such
behavior ...

Greed and corruption seems the mode of operation which is causing us to
go the way of Rome.
