I was looking at the DX-394 as a good platform for experimenting with
detectors and stuff.. Last year they were going for a reasonable 100
bucks or so on Epay - about what I figure they're worth. Now it seems
they are all fetching 200 bucks or so.

I have a dx-394, no mods, much better shape cosmetically, works as well
as when new. Damage to one fold-up leg on the bottom, other than that,
very good shape--someone make me an offer, I'll supply pics. wide grin
