Would you think it worthwhile to wait until then? I have invested plenty of time and will invest money too, so I want the best I could have. Again, Thank you very much! aloha, beans PS I don't do e-bay but do you think the person you suggest is honorable? I get too much spam about e-bay and feel somewhat cautious as a result. Hope you understand. Again TIA. beansatsmithfarms.com farmers of pure kona roast beans to kona to email |

The Redsun RP2100 is the version made and sold within China. Universal-Radio (As well as Kaito USA) will be selling a Kaito KA2100, which is basically a North American, rebranded version of the same radio. Another point about this radio is that a newer version, called the Redsun RP3000, is expected soon (within calendar year 2007 I guess). It will include a numeric keypad for direct frequency entry, SSB (single sideband-- useful for hearing ham radio communications, utility stations, and clandestine broadcasts), and possibly synchronous detection (a feature for AM/SW radio that can reduce fading and interference). Radiointel.com is a website that is tracking the progress of the RP3000. I have purchased multiple items from both liypn and tquchina on eBay and all of the transactions have been perfect. I would say the only differences between them is which radios they have listed/available, and that tquchina seems more friendly/chatty to me. Good luck with your purchase!

![]() I have the Redsun 2100 and it is a nice radio and sounds great..I have ordered several radios from liypn with excellent results. FM over the mountains as said previously may be an issue. I would wait for the new version. Depending on your location to the FM station, the mountains may not be an issue. PS. I have ordered coffee from you many times and it is great. Oh wow! I don't know who you are but thank you! If you know our stuff, I trust you with my wants ![]() My only question about that radio is whether it has an alarm? Do you know? We like to wake up with 10 minutes of the classical music before the NPR news at 5 am. Thanks for telling me to wait for the 02/20/07. I wondered about that and it is more than a month away so I'll try to bide my time. Thank you. aloha, beans beansatsmithfarms.com farmers of pure kona roast beans to kona to email |
