Sounds like a five way antenna switcher for balanced (twin lead)
input and output, lots of ferrite beads and silicone, looks nice.

Yep and probably fresh out of one of the ARRL handbooks. It's a nice build.
I'd have faith in it.


This is not a good design. You need to isolate the relay control wiring
from the RF transmission lines. Because they are in the same space is
why the control wiring has all the ferrite on them. Mr. Smith would have
used opto-isolators here. Ha ha.
